AT&T Activation Clumsiness hurts iPhone
Apple may be smooth and polished, but AT&T has botched the great iPhone rollout. These are some of the frequent errors that people are experiencing. It is so bad that the AT&T web and phone support have shut-down at this point. (via Stephen’s shared items in Google Reader)
iPhone activations hosed until morning?
Filed under: Apple We’ve been hearing scattered reports some that newly-christened iPhone owners are having a heck of a time finalizing the activation process in iTunes. That sucks for a couple reasons: first, these puppies are darned near useless without being activated, and second, it seems the procedure is hanging after the point at which existing customers’ current SIMs are...
I got it
At 6:20 I bought two iPhones. I raced home to activate. Unfortunately I have to wait 24 hours before I can use the iPhone. There were some issues porting over my phone number from Verizon. Kinda disappointing.

Apple iPhone review roundup
Filed under: Handsets, Reviews, ATT, Apple
With just a few days to go before launch, Apple has apparently lifted its embargo on the lucky few journos to get their hands on an iPhone a couple weeks early, and David Pogue, Walt Mossberg and USA Today’s Edward C. Baig are doing the first honors. And honors abound: three out of three reviewers agree that the iPhone is pretty much the sexiest...

iPhone to feature eight hours of talk, new glass...
Filed under: Cellphones, Handhelds, Portable Audio, Portable Video Apple’s tooting its own horn about some new spec upgrades to its imminent iPhone. No, it’s not 3G, GPS or anything crazy like that, but we’ll settle for a battery life upgrade anytime, and screen durability doesn’t hurt neither.
